Skeleton NanoLaboratory
Skeleton NanoLab was founded in 1997 as research and developing company – Tartu Tehnoloogiad OÜ. Since the foundation Skeleton NanoLab has been devoted to the research and development of nanostructured carbon materials. Nanoscale research of carbon at Skeleton NanoLab enabled to establish the parameters for the methods and processes for making carbon materials with controlled pore size, narrow pore size distribution and different nanostructures.
NEWS
* The SkeletonC carbide-derived carbon reached the Hydrogen uptake 4.5% wt. at 77K and 6Bar.
* The SiC derived carbon materials possess the electrical capacitance ~1000 F/g in aq. electrolyte at 1.5V.
* The TiC-derived SkeletonC carbon reached the volumetric capacitance 100 F/cm3 (125F/g) in organic electrolyte. The Supercapacitor with respective carbon electrodes possesses the energy density 13Wh/L .
* The latest development in organic electrolyte allows increasing the working voltage of acetonitrile-free supercapacitor up to 2.85V without degradation in lifetime.
